Headless CMS
SEO & AI-search monitoring for Sanity
Sanity structures your content. Spronta checks the pages your front end renders — for search and for AI answers.
In short
Sanity is a headless CMS with no front end, so there's no Yoast for Sanity and nowhere to audit the rendered page. SEO lives in your Next.js, Astro or other front end. Spronta is the missing check: it crawls your live, Sanity-driven site on a schedule, grades titles, meta, schema, internal links and AI-search (GEO) readiness across every page, and alerts you when a schema or template change regresses something — with a plain-English fix. Free tier, no card, priced by pages.

Why there's no Yoast for Sanity
Sanity manages structured content and serves it to your own front end — there's no rendered page inside Sanity Studio to audit. You can add SEO fields to a schema, but nothing verifies that the front end used them, that schema.org markup is valid, or that AI crawlers can read the result. The on-page SEO surface Yoast owns in WordPress simply doesn't exist here. Spronta supplies it from the outside, against the live URL, and keeps checking as your schemas and templates evolve.
Everything a Yoast-style plugin does — covered by Spronta
| The job | How Spronta covers it |
|---|---|
| Title tag & meta description checks | Flags missing, duplicate, too-long and too-short titles and descriptions across every URL — with the exact fix. |
| Readability & content analysis | Thin-content, heading-order and word-count checks on the rendered page, not the draft. |
| XML sitemap & robots signals | Validates your sitemap, robots.txt and canonical tags — and now robots rules for AI crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot). |
| Schema / structured data | Detects missing or invalid JSON-LD and generates the Organization, Article and FAQ markup AI answers lean on. |
| Internal linking & broken links | Full link graph on every crawl: broken links, redirect chains and orphan pages the visual editor quietly created. |
| Redirects & 404s after a change | Re-crawls on publish and alerts you the moment a slug change orphans a page or a link 404s. |
How it works with Sanity
-
Connect your live site
Point Spronta at the domain your Sanity content renders to — it discovers every page.
-
Crawl on a schedule or on deploy
Run scheduled crawls or trigger one on each deploy so schema and template changes are checked early.
-
Fix what it finds
Each finding — a dropped title from a schema change, invalid JSON-LD — comes with the exact URL and a plain-English fix.
-
Get alerted on regressions
Spronta diffs each crawl and alerts you by email, Slack or Discord when something breaks.
It owns the SEO no one in a headless team does
With Sanity, content editors and front-end developers each own half the page. Spronta gives both a single live view of what's actually wrong, so SEO and AI-search readiness don't fall through the gap.
It catches schema changes that ripple across pages
Change a Sanity schema or GROQ query and the front end can silently drop a title or canonical everywhere it's used. Spronta crawls the live pages and flags every affected URL.
It grades AI-search readiness on every crawl
Structured data, llms.txt, answerable content and AI-crawler access decide whether your Sanity-powered pages get cited by AI answers. Spronta scores all of it — no headless CMS does.
Frequently asked questions
- Does Sanity have an SEO plugin?
- Sanity has community plugins that add SEO fields to the studio, but nothing audits the rendered page — Sanity is headless and has no front end. Spronta provides the audit by crawling your live site.
- How do you do SEO with Sanity?
- Implement SEO in your front end, then monitor the live result. Spronta crawls every Sanity-driven page and grades titles, schema, links and AI-search readiness automatically, with a fix for each issue.
- Can Spronta check every page Sanity generates?
- Yes. Spronta crawls the live site, so it covers every page your content renders to and catches schema or template changes that break SEO across many pages at once.
- Does Spronta grade AI-search visibility for Sanity sites?
- Yes. It scores your AI-search (GEO) readiness so your headless pages can be cited by ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews.
