Cookie Policy
Last updated: 3 May 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Spronta Ltd (“Spronta”, “we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website (spronta.com), our dashboard (app.spronta.com), and our CDN (cdn.spronta.com). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
If you have questions, email us at hello@spronta.com.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, work more efficiently, and to provide information to site owners. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixel tags — this policy covers all of these.
Cookies can be “session” cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent” cookies (which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them). They can also be “first-party” (set by us) or “third-party” (set by a third-party service we use).
2. Cookies We Use
2.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the Service to function. They cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality. We do not require your consent to set these cookies.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
better-auth.session_token | Spronta / Better Auth | Maintains your authenticated session in the dashboard | 7 days |
__cf_bm | Cloudflare | Bot management and DDoS protection on CDN and API endpoints | 30 minutes |
cf_clearance | Cloudflare | Records completion of a Cloudflare challenge to allow access | 1 year |
2.2 Functional cookies
These cookies enable enhanced functionality and personalisation. They may be set by us or by third-party providers whose services we use. Disabling them may affect your experience.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
spronta_theme | Spronta | Remembers your light/dark mode preference in the dashboard | 1 year |
spronta_space | Spronta | Remembers your last-active workspace so you don't have to re-select it | 30 days |
2.3 Analytics cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our website so we can improve it. The data collected is aggregated and anonymised where possible.
| Cookie / Technology | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
va-* | Vercel Analytics | Page view and Web Vitals tracking; no cross-site tracking | Session |
Local storage: spronta_sid | Spronta Tracker | Anonymous session ID for funnel and conversion analytics on spronta.com | 30 minutes inactivity |
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any advertising networks. Our analytics are first-party or infrastructure-level only.
2.4 Marketing cookies
We do not currently use any marketing or advertising cookies. We will update this policy if that changes.
3. Third-Party Services
Some cookies are set by third-party services that we use to provide the Service. These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies:
- Cloudflare — CDN, DDoS protection, and image delivery infrastructure. Cloudflare Privacy Policy
- Vercel — hosting and edge infrastructure. Vercel Privacy Policy
4. Your Choices
4.1 Browser settings
Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically: view what cookies have been set; delete individual or all cookies; block cookies from specific sites; or block all third-party cookies. Refer to your browser's documentation for instructions. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from using the dashboard.
4.2 Opt-out links
You can opt out of Vercel Analytics data collection at any time by enabling the “Do Not Track” signal in your browser. Vercel Analytics respects this signal.
4.3 Our analytics
Our first-party tracker (Spronta Tracker) respects the navigator.doNotTrack browser signal. If Do Not Track is enabled, we do not create a session ID or send any analytics events from the marketing site.
5. Legal Basis (UK/EU)
Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the EU ePrivacy Directive, we rely on the following bases for setting cookies:
- Strictly necessary cookies — no consent required; these are essential to provide a service you have requested
- Functional and analytics cookies — set on the basis of our legitimate interests in understanding and improving our Service; you may object via your browser settings
We do not set any cookies that require your explicit prior consent (such as advertising or cross-site tracking cookies).
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time as the Service evolves. We will post the updated policy on this page and, for material changes, notify you as described in our Terms of Service.
